Starting The Day Off Right

Sometimes we think that starting the day off right has to do primarily with what we eat for breakfast, or the amount of time that we allow ourselves to get ready to start the day.  The fact of the matter is that in order to really start the day off right, one must start off the day with a positive mind.  If we wake up thinking that it’s going to be another Monday and face the day with dread, guess what?  We’re going to have a dreadful day.

The past really does need to stay in the past.  This saying doesn’t just have to do with handling relationships, but with life in general.  So what if it’s a Tuesday and you had a crappy day at work on Monday, do you really want to approach the day with the same attitude.  Do you want to go through the rest of your working career worrying about what you could have done better?  Instead concentrate on how to fix it for future occurances.  You can’t turn back the hands of time, can you?

Some say that if you’re looking for trouble, you’re going to find trouble.  The same goes for if you’re looking for hapiness.  It may take a while to find what you’re looking for, but I can guarantee you will find it!  One thing that I’ve been doing on my Facebook Author and Twitter pages is posting one positive quote a day.  I do this not only for my benifit, but for my followers benifits as well.  Sometimes it takes just a few positive words to change a person’s day, if not their life.  Surround yourself with positive energy and you will live a positive life.

I’m still learning.  I know that it can be difficult to find the positivity in a day that is filled with gloom, but it is possible.  Sometimes it takes more effort than we’d like put forth, but the effort is worth our time and can be benificial to our health.  Have a great day folks.
