Weekend Writing Warriors #8SUNDAY

Hi friends, this week I’m sharing a little more from the Christmas story.  I’m hoping that you’re enjoying it.  Skipped ahead again.  Hope you like it…

And now it’s time for WEEKEND WRITING WARRIORS!  (I wish I could make that just blink or something to show just how exciting it is to me.)

Wondering who we are?  We are a fabulous group of individuals that posts 8-10 sentences on their blogs from a published or unpublished book. Then we “hop” around and leave comments on each other’s snippets.  We welcome EVERYONE’s comments.~

“So is that what was bothering you last night?”  I asked, growing impatient.  I could see the line of coach passengers lining up now and from the looks of it, I was going to be last in line.

“No, that was part of it, but not the whole thing.”  Tito said as he let out a long breath.

“Come on Tito, you’ve got to speed it up a little.”  I said laughing.  “My plane is about to take off and I’ve got to get on it before it takes off without me.”

Tito was quiet for a moment and I used the opportunity to prepare to stand up.

“Evaliz, I have something that I need to tell you before you leave and I’m not sure how it’s going to affect our relationship.”

  3. What?!! He’s got to do this just as she’s about to board a plane? It’s gotta be important then. Nice way to leave us hanging. 🙂

Sounds like what Tito has to say will change everything. I don’t think she should hear it before boarding the plane.

  10. Ooooohhhhh no! You can’t leave us hanging like that! Neva, you are a story-tease! lol

Really good writing. The back and forth felt very real, very natural.

Sheesh, I wonder what he has to tell her that will be of such magnitude. 🙂
