Hi friends!  Welcome back.   I’ve been away from our group for a bit, because I’ve been having a stressful last couple months…

Anyhow, now it’s time for WEEKEND WRITING WARRIORS!

Wondering who we are?  We are a fabulous group of individuals that posts 8-10 sentences on their blogs from a published or unpublished book. Then we “hop” around and leave comments on each others pages.   I’m going to take a break from Esperanza for a while and show you some of what I’ve been working on.  Let me know what you think and enjoy!

After the tiny house boom, a time when millions of Americans downgraded their residential units to houses 120 feet or less a new concept of living was brought forth-Bridge homes.  My father was not a believer, but they did seem to keep their residents safe from the fires that were plaguing our nation.

My great grandmother Penelope had been raised during America’s Fool Age.  A time that American’s believed famous people such as television stars and sport players should be paid outrageous amounts of money for their stardom.  When America finally came to their senses, they began to shun the rich and famous and eventually the rich began to make enormous contributions to the school system and medical resources.  It wasn’t long before hospitals began to stop charging citizens for their services because they were so adequately funded and not long after that the cost of living in general began to drop.

Living modestly became more than a trend, it was the new way of life and when my grandfather Tom inherited his wealth from her, he gave ninety-five percent of it away to numerous charities without hesitation.  Later, he had a brilliant idea with what to do with the rest and established the first tiny home community in California.  Other children of movie stars took a liking to the idea and did the same, soon after creating an entire city full of tiny homes and naming the city after my Grandmother, who ironically opposed the rights of the poor and middle class throughout her life.
